Health Coaching

I partner with women in midlife to create and work toward health goals based on their own values so they can live balanced, vibrant, enjoyable lives. My approach is non-judgmental, progress-oriented, and considers each client as a whole person as we work together to make sustainable changes. Some common goals include:

  • Improving sleep

  • Starting or changing an exercise routine

  • Spending more thoughtful time with loved ones

  • Devoting more energy to passion projects

  • Improving work or living environment for optimal peace

  • Updating nutrition or lifestyle habits

  • Immersing in community to feel more connected

Sessions are virtual via Zoom so we can meet from the convenience and comfort of your home or workplace.

Yoga and Pilates Instruction

I customize each class to ensure you feel safe, supported and at ease. Sessions can be private (1-on-1), semi-private (2-3 people) or in groups (4+ people) and can span 30-90 minutes depending on your needs.

  • Mat Pilates: We’ll use the core principles of Pilates to guide each practice including breath, focus, centering, concentration, precision, and control.

  • Yin Yoga: Mostly floor-based, longer held poses to let the fascia in the body naturally release.

  • Gentle Yoga: We’ll balance effort and ease as we move through the sequence and marry poses with breath.

  • Prenatal Yoga: A fluid practice with lots of hip openers. A combination of strengthening, playfulness and relaxation to ready your mind, body and spirit.

  • Meditation: We’ll start with breathwork to center the mind, then practice mantra-based meditation.

Sessions are either virtual via Zoom or can be taught on-location if you are in the vicinity of Wilmington, North Carolina.
